Is this the same as a home inspection?+

No. This is a specialized assessment focused specifically on the residential solar PV system.

Do you need the homeowner’s monitoring login?+

No. The inspection can still be completed without it. Monitoring data is reviewed when available.

Do you get on the roof?+

The standard inspection is primarily non-invasive and may use aerial and thermal imaging rather than physical roof access.

Do you inspect batteries?+

Yes. Battery systems may be inspected as an additional or upgraded service.

Can you guarantee future production?+

No. The inspection assesses observable conditions and operation at the time of inspection.

Do you perform repairs?+

No. We identify concerns. Repairs or advanced diagnosis should be referred to an appropriately qualified contractor.

What happens if you find a problem?+

The report clearly identifies the concern and recommends further evaluation where appropriate.

Inspection scope

Residential Solar Buyer Inspections are non-invasive assessments of observable PV system condition and operating performance at the time of inspection. Inspections are not structural engineering evaluations, roof certifications, electrical-code compliance inspections, equipment warranty certifications, or guarantees of future energy production. Concealed, inaccessible, or unsafe conditions are outside the standard scope.
